Holcomb Gardens

Holcomb Gardens is truly my secret spot for Indianapolis engagement photo locations. No really, I do about 50% of my engagement photography sessions here!

Picture gorgeous willow trees with a creek running right through the middle. You can dance in the flower gardens or kiss under Butler’s bell tower and fountain- it’s a luscious green wonderland!

Fort Harrison State Park

Another Indy State Park for the win for Indianapolis engagement photo locations. This gem has a river running through it, a lake, rolling hills, and TONS of forest. Fort Harrison State Park is great for creek stomping, providing beautiful symmetry and tree lines, right on the edge of the city. Plan ahead because this location gets busy in the fall.

Carmel Arts District

Although I am not ONLY a Carmel photographer, I love doing sessions here because there are so many gems in this town. The Carmel Arts District is full of adorable little restaurants, wineries, coffee shops, theaters, and more.

For some additional date night pics, I recommend posing near the brick roads, cute light posts, and murals!

100 Acre Woods

Last but not least on my list of Indianapolis engagement photo locations are the 100 Acre Woods, also known as the Virginia B. Fairbanks Art & Nature Park. They’re affiliated with the Newfields art museum and one of the largest museum art parks in the country! This gem has woodlands, wetlands, meadows (oh my!) not to mention a lake, rotating art pieces, overlooks, and more. Great for a picnic session or a beach sesh.
